I’m training hard for Tour for Life, a 1,300-kilometer, 19,000-meter bike ride to raise money for cancer research. At the same time, I’m trying to lose weight. A difficult combination: whoever cycles fast must eat well. But what is good food in my case? My fellow cyclists swear by gels and sweet sports drinks, but that didn’t feel right to me.
With exercise advice and Clear it didn’t stop there, but I really got insight into what works for me and what really doesn’t work. My sleep and diet, my activities and my emotions during sports were looked at. This created a well-considered and complete picture of my physical condition, energy management and vitality and I learned what certain foods do with my blood sugar level.
The personal nutrition plan and customized exercise advice has helped me to make my workouts even more efficient, to use my energy better and also to lose weight. I’m even considering getting a membership now. Insight is addictive!
